White Carvings Part 1

Yesterday Art Clubbers and I started a new series of lessons called “White Carvings”. This is based on a technique I developed inspired by the gorgeous plasterwork carvings of the Alhambra, in Spain.

We started the session exploring a little of the massive fortress through Google Earth:

After the tour, we started to explore the technique, starting from the very beginning, using simple shapes.
