Back to Basics during NoN-covid bug

Every once in a while it's important to go back to basics — REALLY going back to the Zentangle method 101 tile: a Z-string and tangles Crescent Moon, Hollibaugh, Printemps and a grid.

This week I had an opportunity to do so, I caught a bug that was NOT Covid and had to do a lot of resting. Interesting that we've been dealing with Covid for a while that we forget there are other bugs out there too.

I enjoyed making this tile and it helped me forget about things for a bit. I'm a little surprised at how weird and quirky this one turned out!

After that one, I used the Art Raffle to pull out the following combination:

This is the tile that came out of that! Also, super quirky. I have to confess that these two tiles are perfect examples of my all time favorite style to draw in Zentangle. I call them “Eni Dreams”, because they remind me of a frozen moment in time captured from some bizarre fantasy landscape that could only come from a dream.
