Wrap and Bridge Class
Yesterday Art Clubbers and I explored a class on the Wrap and Bridge style, something of my own invention where you wrap a couple of string sections forming cones and cylinders.
After discussing strategies on how to select string sections, we used Zentwining (Lynn Mead) to create wrapped cones:
We use Sand Swirl (Karry Heun) to create the bridge between the cones.
Shading and embellishing creates more dramatic results:
The Clubbers did an amazing job!
Here are close-ups of my piece and also a couple of samples I prepared before class:

A few weeks ago one my friends suggested a “skyline” string over a mass of water. I used mooka3d, Alfie (Angie Gittles), Nik (Bunny Wright) and Dillo-tant (Lisa Goldman). I wonder if the buildings are emerging or submerging? :-)
