W2 Warp and Weft
Been playing with the tangle W2 (Zentangle), which stands for Warp and Weft, the terms commonly used in weaving. LOVING IT!
Started with a simple ribbon, where I used a grid of dots in diagonal to create what looks more or less like a Celtic knot.
Sometimes when I'm exploring a tangle that I haven't used in a while, I like to go on my iPad and do some digital tangling. I REALLY love how the frazzled, frayed edges turned out on this one:
Back to paper, I created this one with a large green Knot-looking focal in the center.
