Tornado Tangling

A Pinwheel or Tornado string is a much beloved and classic layout used by many tanglers in what I'm affectionately calling “Tornado Tangling”. In these two tiles I filled up a Pinwheel layout with a cornucopia of different tangles. Here's a before and after shading:

I used various tangles for the interior such as Shattuck, Flukes, Mooka, Rixty and Icanthis (all Zentangle). The fun about this layout is that it can be applied very easily and almost always produces good results. Here's a close-up for you to inspect:

Here's another one using Oysteroid (Jody Genovese), Tullup (Stefanie Van Leeuwan), also Drupe, Mooka, W2, Moon Pie, Icanthis and Pokeleaf (all Zentangle).
