Showgirl

Showgirl is a beautiful tangle pattern deconstructed by Vicki Bassett. This is a BLOSSOM type tangle, using teardrops that form large feathery petals. At first I thought it was too similar to Hamsix, (which I love), but right away after my first attempts I saw that was an entirely different animal. 

This tile was create using my beloved 3D ribbon borders, made of scalloped auras. This is part of the line-art:

Other tangles in the picture are Sez (Zentangle) and Footlite. 

I wanted to experiment shading with a gray water-soluble brush marker and colored pencils, NO GRAPHITE.

I'm very happy with the way it turned out, pretty dramatic with all those Auras!
