Rusty ZIA Fish Video Class
These FUN rusty Zentangle-Inspired fish are the result of a creativity workshop I ran back in August. These watercolor shaded pictures are the topic of an upcoming class for my Artclub. A video recorded class is now available for purchase at my Teachable Shop https://enioken.teachable.com/p/rustyfish .
Here are some of the before and after shading:
Tangles and enhancers include Zentwining (Lynn Mead), Flukes, Scena, Tipple and Mooka (Zentangle), Fat Paper (Livia Chua), and some mini gems.
Here are a few close-ups for you to inspect:
Feel free to pin or share these pictures!
Last Thursday, Art Clubbers and I had completed Part 2 of the quirky ZIA Rusty Fish class we started the week before. We used watercolors, graphite pencil, gel pen and colored pencils for shading and coloring.
Yesterday, Art Clubbers and I had Part 1 of the Rusty Fish class where we developed the line-art of this fun, quirky ZIA project. Part 2 class coming next week!
If you love brown pen “Renaissance” and whimsical characters, then this project is for you. The Zentangle Inspired Art Rusty fish has over two hours of recorded video showing how to shade using brown watercolors and pencils.
One more Sand Swirl watercolor piece. This is the last one, I promise! Also tangles Cadent and Squid over watercolor background.
Another piece using watercolor background: Cadent, Aquafleur and Sandswirl (Karry Heun). Sooooo much fun!
This video class is available at my Video Shop here. Learn how to use a watercolor background to tangle over, producing vibrant results in color!
I finally finished a couple of eco-dyed projects I had started a few months ago when we were playing with that lesson. Leaves and corn!
This is an insider picture: some interesting papers I “accidentally” made which look like tie-dye.
This wonderful lesson on how to create soothing and meditative “fantasy agates” is back again in the new lesson shop. It also shows you how to use controlled color palettes in your art without the pain of learning color theory.
Ok, this is the last of the rusty fish: I took some bits and pieces and made it into a Zendala. Super fun!!!
