Palazzo Flower Zendala
Don't you just love instructional drawings where you can see the piece half done? As an eternal student and teacher, I LOVE those kinds of drawings. They are a little tricky to make because you have to remember to stop at a certain point. Here you can see a Flower Zendala using Palazzo tangles and patterns as inspiration.
Here's a before after:
I created this partial Zendala for the sake of my students — our next class will explore how to create the structure of a Zendala using different styles. This is a typical flower mandala structure, starting in the center and radiating out like a flower.
In this next picture you can see the tangle and pattern sampler extracted from the Palazzo and how they were used in the Zendala.
Feel free to share these images!
