Dingbatz Coffering

Another tile prompted by the “To You Tangle” event here. This one called to use Mooka and Dingbatz, and again my pen did what it wanted to do! Aside from Mooka, you can also see coffering, Icanthis and even Buen Camino (Tina Hunziker).

Here’s the before and after shading:

The background was too empty, so I added some Flux, all pointing outward. Pretty weird…

I think we are all a little in love with Tomàs Padro's new tangle Medusa. Here I'm posting two simple tiles where I explored the shading and different ways to construct the underlying ogee grid. I suspect Medusa is going to appear more in my work very soon!

I had a blast making these two pieces combining Wartz (Genevieve Crabe) with Sinkhole and Spherify! The Art Raffle gave me this difficult combination, but it was a fun experiment and I'm super happy with it.
