Art Raffle and Edgework Class

Yesterday Art Clubbers and I had a fun black and white Classic Zentangle class. I had a lofty ambition to accomplish two goals, and I think it worked out ok. I used my Art Raffle app to pull out a sequence, and we focused especially on how to create Edgework, a term I came up with to describe different strategies used to create a greater sense of roundness and 3D on to a tangle pattern.

This is Phase 3 of the Tangle Transitions lesson and here is the information that you can find in the Art Raffle app (it's free):

We started the session playing with the Art Raffle, I showed Clubbers how I approach the app for my daily meditation sessions. In the end, here are the cards we used:

We used tangles Munchin and Bales (Zentangle) and Kensington (Anoeska Waardenburg). We also used mini tassels and tons of other enhancers aside from the ones in the card above.

Of course we covered different techniques of shading as well.
