Ravel and Waterfalls

I'm on a little family vacation in Brazil, we went to Iguazu Falls, a place I have wanted to visit for a LONG time. Oh my, I was not prepared for the sheer force of nature that is present in the astounding waterfalls abundant in that region! What you see in this following picture is only a small portion of the many waterfalls. The fog in the picture is actually droplets of water!

This is a close-up of the main waterfall, the “Garganta do Diabo” (literally means Devil's throat), an overwhelming amount of water which forms mesmerizing patterns. I could stare at this for hours!

Since I did not have any drawing materials with me, only my Ipad, I used Procreate app for my daily meditation during the trip. I played with the Zentangle's tangle “Ravel”, the step-out recently posted on the CZT newsletter, and soon to be released to the general public. This is a new tangle to me, and I love it. This is my first experiment with Ravel. It feels like a mix of Cadent, Echo Lines and Garlic Cloves, very very fun to work with.

This next one mixes Ravel, Zentwining (a concept originally by Lynn Mead) and a bit of the ideas found in my latest lesson, Organic Borders. I REALLY love how it turned out!
