Walk through it

Sometimes you want to help someone so badly, and you give them tons of advice. But advice only goes so far. The person has to actually want to help themselves, and there is nothing you can do. Reminds me of The Matrix, I love that movie -- when Morpheus says one of his famous lines to Neo. Brilliant!

This tile was a test, working with watercolor background surrounding a tri-gem brooch. 

Here's the progression:

The tangles used were Purk (Zentangle), Nekton (Zentangle), Scallops (Suzanne McNeill), Pufcookie (Eni Oken) and Footlites (Carole Ohl). 

I painted the background with watercolors. In retrospect, there are too many colors there, should have kept the palette a bit more controlled and used only two colors instead.

Here is a close-up of the gems -- I love the gems when they are made with watercolors, they turn out super organic!
