Red Dragon

Art Club members and I are having so much fun playing with fractalizing and now with the brand new lessons on how to create dragons. Too much fun, especially for those of us who have boys in our lives. 

I created this one using a mooka3d background in red, just makes the whole thing pop forward. (By the way, this is the same type of background used in the lesson on how to create Tangled Words). Here is the line-art before applying the background: 

And here is the line-art before applying a watercolor wash to dilute the force of the background: 

Here is the final picture after shading with graphite pencils and colored pencils. I also used some gold gel pen to create some dotted lines. Cool!
