More Tassels

Grief is a funny thing. My cousin says it's a process. I was not able to tangle today. The only drawing I was capable of doing was more of the Tassel Ladies (click here). 

I had every intention of tangling, and even started with a proper string over a proper Zentangle tile. This is the string:

Somehow, I couldn't. I have no explanation for it, it just didn't come out, I was paralyzed. The pen moved in weird ways, like it had a mind of its own.  

The line art was made with 005 Micron. 

I colorized it a bit with copic markers and some light colored pencils. This rebellious tile didn't want prismacolors, so I went with the few polychromos I have.

Perhaps I just need to get all the tassel ladies out of my system, and then I can tangle again. For now, I'm just following the pen.
