During the month of May 2017, we are working on my newest ebook Choosing Tangle Patterns. Exercise 6 is about converting the structure of a tangle to a different one.

For example, here is an example using Paizel (deconstructed by Angie Vangalis) to create a Blossom type tangle.

Below you can see other converted tangles such as Slab (deconstructed by Shazia), Narwal (Sam Taylor) and single Mooka (Zentangle), inked in brown and black over Renaissance tan tile.

I used distressed ink to create the background, and filled it with Hypnotic (Elena).
I just LOVE this color combination!
