Bunny Wright's tangles in the Art Raffle app

As the year comes to an end, we think of the people who are no longer with us. This week Alan and I released a new update to our free app Art Raffle. In this update, we have an important set of tangles from Bunny Wright, a wonderful CZT who left us way too soon this past August.

I didn't know Bunny personally, but we were friendly and exchanged emails and facebook comments. According to Fred Wright, she was a prolific and multi-talented artist for 40 years, including a wedding cake-maker, also painting watercolors and acrylics and even origami art. Bunny was a school teacher and of course, a Certified Zentangle Teacher.

What I do know about Bunny is that I LOVED her tangles. They were creative and interesting, fun to use. My favorite of all her tangled was probably Nik, you can see it here as a duotangle with Mooka:

Another tangle that I enjoyed of hers was Heartrope, a fun tangle that forms a braided rope. You can see that tangle here in the background of this piece:

Besides Bunny's tangles, we also included a few more cards in this update:

If you haven't noticed, we also included a way to filter out the type of card in the search bar, selecting from Tangle, Enhancer, Fragment and String:

And finally, I also started to add small selection of Fragments extracted from the Zentangle Primer Vol 1 (with permission). When you pull out one of these cards, you can pick one of the fragments from ones displayed and include it in your work individually or in a reticulum (grid). More fragment selections will come out eventually.

I want to thank Fred Wright and Bunny's family for allowing me to post this message and add her beautiful tangles into the Art Raffle, and continue to bring us joy whenever we use them!
