Bubble Gum Scroll

Was on a plane last weekend and started to draw some Tangled Scrollwork, but for some reason it came out SUPER skinny. So when I got to where I was going, I took out my watercolors and added some colorful background. Turned out a tad like bubble-gum, hahahaha.

Still not happy with it, I decided to add some white tangling, here is a close-up: 

I think I like the scrolls with more body! However, I do like the amount of tiny detail, and the wispy feeling of the background:
